2.1 OHC Engines

These engines are produce good torque and performance. The extra capacity from the 2.1 [5%] allows moderate tuning without producing a spiky power curve. The 135hp version drives like the standard engine but with 30% more power!

2.0 BLOCK ASSEMBLY:
Rebuilt Unit with crank, conrods and pistons assembled in the block. Bored 0.060” [2060cc] or 0.090” to obtain 2.1 capacity. We fit Hepolite pistons and Vandervell bearings with the reground crankshaft. The block surface is refaced to ensure complete flatness. Water and Oil plugs are removed and the block is chemically cleaned. Finally the block is repainted.

135 HP Engine Now include a vernier

These engines are fully reconditioned, using Hepolite pistons and Vandervell bearings. As they are the basis of our Performance engines, we fit high-pressure oil pumps. The engines are fully built, including flywheel. They use our Maxiflow I head (see page29 for spec.) and Kent FR 32 Cam. The Inlet manifold is ported, polished and matched to the head.

Fitting Twin Carbs, either Weber or Dellortoes on the 135hp spec’ engine will increase the power output to 150hp.In Addition to the Twin carbs you will need a Non vac distributor.
